With an adult, look at the different objects on the lesson presentation and decide which are old and which are new. Which household items do we use now? Which items did people used to use 'then' - a long time ago, in the past? Chat to your adult about them. Do you know why we use different objects now? Why have they changed? Are some of the items we use, still the same?
Next, use the pictures to cut out and sort into items that we use now and old items that were used 'then', in the past. Glue them onto the sheet provided, or draw your own items on paper at home.
