Weekly Update 10.3.17

The week started with our Parent/Teacher meetings on Monday. Hopefully you found the meetings useful – both to see how your child is progressing and any areas for development. Thank you to everyone who completed the questionnaires on homework. We will be taking your responses into consideration as we review the homework policy. We have been looking at the work of Julia Donaldson in recognition of World Book Day. Everyone enjoyed the work they did in their houses this week. We have had 3 teams of our Junior children taking part in competitions: Water polo, Futsal & Lacrosse. Congratulations to all 3 teams. Our Year 3 children have had a great day today as Romans. Well done to everyone for taking part today. Y6 have brought home a letter today about Confirmation.

Another busy week next week with our Music concert for our year 4 & 6 pupils on Wednesday, Year 4’s visit to Clitheroe Castle on Thursday and Year 5 have their last session on Friday with Keith Orrell in preparation for Let’s Sing! on Tuesday 21st March. Look out for details about what we are doing for Comic relief on Friday 24th March. Here you can see the Water Polo team.
