Weekly Update

Thank you everyone for your support this half-term. We have had a great start to the new school year. All our new pupils have settled in really well. As you are aware, Church was used instead of school yesterday for polling. This meant that school was able to stay open for the day. We would like to thank Rector Martin and the P.C.C. for supporting us with this. Last night, in the torrential rain, sixteen of our Junior pupils took part in the ATSA cross-country competition. We are so proud of each and every one of them! Well done to Zac, Theo, Toby, Leon, Freya, Glenita, Faith, Scarlett, Jyus, Faye, Jasmine, Mia, Anna, Ole, Aidan & Harrison. Particular mention goes to Jasmine and Jyus, our medal winners. Jasmine came first in the Upper Juniors girls event, and Jyus came third in the Upper Junior boys. A huge thank you to all the family members who braved the weather. Hopefully you have now dried out! Unfortunately, the tag rugby didn’t go ahead this afternoon. We have break up for the half-term break. Next half term we have a number of things happening- including a non-uniform day on Friday 3rd November (where the children are asked to bring in something for the Christmas Fair) and Children in Need (Friday 17th November). Look out for the next newsletter as we come back to school. See you on Monday 30th October, when the school photographer will be with us. Have a lovely break.
