Christian Aid
Our church and school work with Christian Aid to raise funds each year. For 2014 we used our Window on the World and P4C collective worship to explore a theme about water. We learnt about the effect of a lack of clean water for communities in Ethiopia and Rwanda. Reflecting on water helped us to be thankful for clean tap water and flush toilets. We learnt how many children become sick through using unclean water, miss school to carry water and may be attacked on the water routes.
Year 5 organised a water walk in houses and we all tried experiencing what it is like to carry buckets of water over long distances.
