A big thank you to Keiara and her family for organising the cake sale yesterday and to all those who bought cakes. The children really enjoyed them, and a fantastic £110 was raised for the ICU department at Salford Royal through Northcare Charity.

This week our Reception class have been so excited to receive a delivery of eggs. What could they be? Pterodactyls and rhinos were our favourite guesses. They have since watched some beautiful ducklings hatch.

Thank you to the staff who have helped set up and run our new after-school provision. The children attending seem to have really enjoyed it. It is a service open to all our families should it be required. Please contact the office for further information. Next week I am going to launch a competition with the children to come up with a name for our wrap-around care.

Next week all our other after-school clubs will be running. Family worship on Tuesday will involve our pupils from Years 5 and 6. Family members are invited to join us. Our Tweak of the Week next week is being ready to learn on entering the classroom. If you notice your child isn't getting the dojo for this, do ask them about it.
