Y4 – Children should produce a side or more of A4 writing that is clear and coherent. 90% of basic punctuation including commas should be correct. Children should mainly use the correct organisation for the text type including paragraphs. A range of sentence openers, ambitious vocabulary and more sophisticated connectives should be used.
