Come and meet the staff at our school.

Mrs Southern is the Headteacher and is the PSHE Subject Leader.

Our Reception class teacher is Mrs Deakin and the class teaching assistant is Mrs Newton. Mrs Deakin is our SEND Co-ordinator.  Mrs Newton and Mrs Deakin are Paediatric First Aiders. Miss Berry is a one-to-one teaching assistant, lunchtime assistant and jointly runs the after school club with other staff. 

Our Y1 teacher is Miss Reynolds and is subject leader for Science & DT throughout school.  Miss Morris is the class teaching assistant and is also a breakfast club assistant and jointly runs the after school club with other staff.  Miss Morris is also a Designated/Paediatric First Aider. Mrs Collier is employed to work two to one, supporting a child with additional needs.

Mr Tinker is our Y2 teacher. Mr Tinker is our Computing Subject Leader. Mrs Peake is the class teaching assistant in the mornings and is also a Designated/Paediatric First Aider, lunchtime assistant and jointly runs the after school club with other staff. 

Mrs Lowe teaches our Year 3 class and is also the Assistant Headteacher, and has responsibility for Reception and Key Stage 1 (the Infant department).  She is also our Maths and History subject leader.  The class teaching assistant is Miss Hilton.  

Our Y4 class is taught by Mr Burrows and the class teaching assistant is Miss Davison.  Mr Burrows is also our PE & Sports Subject Leader.  Miss Davison also runs the breakfast club and is also a Designated/Paediatric First Aider.

Miss Quinn teaches our Year 5 class and is our subject leader for Music and Art. The class teaching assistant is Miss Longshaw who is also a lunchtime assistant and works in breakfast club. 

Mr Lawrenson is our Y6 teacher.  He is Key Stage 2 Assistant Headteacher and is our English Subject Co-ordinator and Geography Subject Leader.  He leads English across school and runs the school council. Ms Brown is the class teaching assistant and is also a Designated/Paediatric First Aider.

Mrs Ogden covers PPA/Senior Leadership time. Mrs Ogden is our R.E. and Spanish Subject Leader.

Miss Brennan is our Pastoral Support Worker and is also a Designated First Aider.

Mrs Power and Mrs Rieveley are lunchtime assistants. At lunchtimes, the pupils are also supervised by other staff members. Mrs Power also jointly runs the after school club with other staff.

Mr Clark is the School Business Manager.  Mrs Norbury is the administrative and finance assistant and is also a Designated First Aider.  Both will answer the phone with any queries you have.

Miss Rowley is our Site Manager and Miss Battersby is our school cleaner and Cover Site Manager. 

Louise is our temporary school cook and is supported by kitchen assistant Mrs Ball.

As a school we are also very lucky to have a lot of volunteers who help with reading, displays, outdoor learning, the school garden and the library. Our volunteers come from lots of areas of the community - they are parents and grandparents, former staff, St Mary's sixth form students, trainee teaching assistants and members of our church.
