Free Breakfast Club - Bee Ready!

At St Stephen's, we are proud to offer Breakfast Club and After School Club places to help our school community and working families.

We have been selected to be an early adopter of the government’s national programme which will eventually see free breakfast clubs in every primary school in England.

This scheme aims to set children up for the day by providing a nutritious breakfast as well as social time with their friends before their learning starts.

The club opens for 30 minutes from 8.25am and is free for all pupils.

We are really proud to have been part of the pilot for the Free Breakfast Club. Thank you so much to the team of staff who work in our breakfast club each day ensuring the children have something to eat, are settled and ready to learn.  On 22nd April our Bee Ready Club will be 1 year old. Can I remind you that all registered pupils are welcome to come to the club whenever it suits. The back gates are open each day between 8.25am and 8.35am.

Breakfast Club

The school breakfast club and after school club, known as 'The Lighthouse' is run by members of our school team as follows:

Breakfast Club Manager: Miss Davison

Breakfast Club Assistants: Miss Morris, Miss Longshaw, Miss Hilton, Miss Jones and Mrs Rieveley.

The breakfast club runs from 7.30am to 8.25am and costs £3.70 per day/£1.85 for siblings. 

From 8.25am all pupils then join the Bee Ready free club.

After School Club

The after school club runs from 3.25pm to 5.30pm and costs £11 per day.

A contract will be put in place and payments must be made via ParentPay or Tax Free Childcare Vouchers.
