On Remembrance Day our whole school community came together for a time of silence. Well done to all the pupils from nursery to Year 6 for being so respectful. A huge thank you to Mr Burrows for playing for us.
Our Year 6 pupils have been taking part in their Bikeability sessions this week. The staff who came in were so pleased with how the children behaved throughout the sessions. Well done everyone!
We hope you found the meetings with the teachers helpful on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey on the day. If you haven’t completed one, there are some available from the office. We will share the results with you soon.
It is amazing to see how our Quick wins at playtimes have totally transformed the children’s breaks. Year 4 were the first class to test the scooter track out this week following their excellent behaviour when I visited their class earlier in the week.
Everyone looked great today for our Children in Need day. Thank you so much to everyone for their donations and to everyone who bought raffle tickets. Together we have raised an amazing £410.72 . Well done everyone! Thank you so much to Johanne for making over 100 Pudsey biscuits. I can confirm they were delicious!
On Monday morning our Year 6 pupils are heading to Low Bank Ground for the week. They will be accompanied by Mr. Lawrenson, Mrs Wallace (governor), Mrs Peake, Mrs Lowe for the start of the week and Miss Reynolds to finish the week. I can’t wait to share what they have been up to.
This morning we had another delivery of tyres for OPAL play. Thank you so much to Theo (Y1) and his dad (from Risley MOT and Truck Ltd, Risley) for dropping us off another 70 tyres in the pouring rain. If anyone has any scooters or cars that are not being used at home – we would love more to use on our track.
Have a lovely weekend.
