Monday 17th November, 2025

Just after 9.30am the children and staff were all on the coach ready to leave for Low Bank Ground. On arrival they had their lunch and then were straight on to activities. Two of the groups were hill-walking and one group out on canoes. For tea they had lasagne, garlic bread and salad, followed by apple crumble and custard. This evening they are orienteering around the site, before playing bingo. 

Tuesday 18^th November, 2025

Mrs Lowe says the children were all stars last night. A couple were ‘wobbly’ going to bed, but everyone has had a good night’s sleep. After breakfast of cereal, toast and a full English everyone got ready for their activities. It’s a wet and wintry day up there. One group is canoeing, one ghyll scrambling and the other out exploring caves and the mountains. The group canoeing successfully made it across the lake and enjoyed a well-deserved hot chocolate, and received compliments for their super behaviour in the café! More updates later.

Wednesday 19th November, 2025

The view from Low Bank Ground this morning. 

Miss Reynolds arrived at Low Bank Ground ready to swap with Mrs Lowe. I'm not sure she wants to leave! Here are some photos from the morning's activities. Looks like they are having stunning weather today - but very chilly! 

Some more amazing photos from this afternoon. I spoke to Mr. Lawrenson and a few of the children earlier when they were out on their walk. They were all excited to tell me all about their adventures. They are having a great time. 

Thursday 20th November, 2025

More fun today with self-led orienteering, den building and campfire with hot chocolate and marshmallows. The last I heard from them they were all set for film night. 

Friday 21st November, 2025

Last morning at Low Bank Ground. Some photos from a couple of the groups this morning. Activities today include geocaching. We'll keep you updated on the plans for getting home.
