The children have now had two pass up days in preparation for next year. This should make the move easier in September. This morning I walked (at a pace following Mrs Birchall!) with year 6 to St. George’s Church in Tyldesley. We had a lovely service with Garrett Hall, St. George’s Central, St. John’s Moseley Common, Tyldesley Primary School and Fred Longworth High. The children sang one of their songs from the show, and did a great job. Tomorrow I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the Leaver’s Ball. Next week is as busy as ever with the Year 6 play on Monday and Tuesday. We are trying- for the final time- to hold our sports Day track events on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday we have our Leaver’s Communion service in school at 9.15am. All are welcome to join us in the school hall. There will be refreshments afterwards in the Community room. On Wednesday 19^th July from 3.00pm we are having a clear out of ‘Lost Property’. Do come along to the Community Room if you are missing bits of uniform. As Friday is our last day in school, the staff are having ‘Tropical Friday’. All children are invited to come to school out of uniform- and can join us if they like in brightly coloured clothes, shorts etc.
