Our RE topic this half term is...
'Jesus, friend to everyone'.
This week, we are looking at the Bible story of when 'Jesus healed the men with leprosy'.
Spend some time watching/listening to the story!
If you like, you could spend the time to go through the story on the following PowerPoint too!
Now, can you discuss the following with an adult:
- How does this story show that Jesus was a good friend?
- Does he show the qualities of a good friend that you discussed with Miss Nuttall last week? (helpful, kind, caring)
Now, your main task is to make a thank you card. When writing this card, you are to imagine that you are the man in the story that went back to say thank you.
When writing your message inside, consider the following:
- What was their life like before?
- What was their life like after they were healed?
- How did it feel to be healed by Jesus?
Optional challenge/extension:
Can you write a couple of sentences about why it is important to say thank you? Does this always class as being a good friend?
