Geography
In our new Geography topic, we are going to be learning all about the 7 continents and the 5 oceans of the world!
What I would like you to do first, is to explore the Earth using Google Earth. I want you to discuss the shape of the Earth with an adult and see if you can identify which areas might be covered by land, and which areas might be covered by water.
The land areas that you can see on our Earth are split up into 7 different blocks called continents.

Now that you know the names of our 7 continents, I would like you to choose one continent and explore the web-page for this continent!
Can you make a poster about this continent? Looking at the shape and trying to sketch it (using the pictures below), and writing down any interesting or important information about this continent?
