Afternoon tea for Intergen
Today we hosted a very special afternoon tea for Intergen, this is an organisation that provides retired volunteers to schools. The volunteers came from our own school, Garratt Hall and Fred Longworth. The children treated them to a choir performance, brass pieces and shared some of their poems.
They were an absolute credit to St Stephen's and our visitors complemented the children on their confidence, good manners, friendly nature and their willingness to share their learning in school.
Miss Ormerod was incredibly proud of them all. Thanks go Ashton, Luke, Jennifer, Ella, Harrison, Olivia D, Harvie M, Mia, Jasmine, Kit, Liam, Fintan, Millie, Jess, Katy M, Maddie H, Maddie C, Rachel and Amanda.
