And I thought the previous weeks had been busy!
Thank you to all the children for their Harvest gifts this week and for the wonderful Harvest Service on Wednesday morning. Particular thanks go to Mr Puckey and Year 4 for leading the service for us. My headteacher award goes to you this week. You were all amazing! It was lovely to see so many of our parents in Church for the service. Thank you too to the members of the Parents Association for providing the refreshments.
Wednesday proved to be a very busy day, with us having Sally Kenyon, HMI, in school with us. I am extremely proud of everyone. Many thanks to the parents, staff and children who completed the questionnaires. We hope to share the results from the visit next week.
On Thursday, after school, a group of our Y6 pupils took part in a Quicksticks hockey competition. Mr Lawrenson told me that the children were ‘ace’, winning 1 match, drawing 1 and losing 2. Well done everyone!
The current level of cover for Before and After School (from 8.00am until 4.15pm) will continue for the next 2 weeks, until Friday 21st October. More details will follow as soon as they become available. Thank you for your understanding.
