Look what Y3 have been up to!
Yesterday Year 3 had a visit from Nurse Victoria, from Salford Royal. She explained how the hospital try to mend broken bones, from our head all the way to our toes! She brought with her neck braces, splints, collar and cuffs, slings, pelvis binder, crutches, bandages and plaster. Every child had the chance to have a go on crutches and be bandaged up. I hope none of our children managed to convince parents these were real injuries!! Thank you to Nurse Victoria who volunteered her time to come into Year 3 for such an exciting afternoon, a visit that cost us nothing!
