Update 15.11.24

We have had a lovely day in school today, raising money for Children in Need. Everyone looked great. Thank you to you all for your generous support. So far we have raised an amazing £537.00. I will share the updated total on Monday once we have the amount from the cake sale too.

We have spent the week exploring this year’s anti-bullying theme of ‘Choose Respect’. This fits in perfectly with our school rules, and our current value of wisdom. I have uploaded this year’s anti-bullying week’s parent information pack to our website. Here is the link: https://primarysite-prod-sorted.s3.amazonaws.com/st-stephens-ce-primary-school/UploadedDocument/e0f725d6-d484-4691-8d9f-c925648cb3bf/abw-parents-pack-2024.pdf

We hope you found the parent/ teacher meetings on Tuesday useful. Thank you to everyone who completed the questionnaire. We are just collating the responses at the moment, and will share the results with you soon.

Regarding communication with the teaching staff, we ask that you do not do this directly with the teachers on dojo.  This is not monitored. If you would like to speak to a teacher then please send an email to enquiries@admin.astleysaintstephens.wigan.sch.uk or send a dojo to ‘office messages’. This is monitored frequently and the messages will be passed on to the relevant staff. Any messages of a pastoral nature can be sent directly to Miss Brennan, and if you have a message of a confidential nature or high importance please message me, Mrs Lowe (regarding KS1) or Mr Lawrenson (regarding KS2). Do not hesitate to speak to me regarding this if needed.

We hope you have a lovely weekend, and we will see you on Monday.
