Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Harvest Service this week, and for all the items sent into school. All the food will be going to the local foodbank and Barnabus, a Homeless Charity based in Manchester. Thank you to Mrs Ogden for putting the service together, and to the members of the PA who sorted out the refreshments. Yesterday the Fire Service came into school to talk to our Y6 pupils about keeping safe and anti-social behaviour. My Headteacher’s Awards have gone to Reception and Year 3. I can’t believe our Reception children have only been in school full-time for 4 weeks. They have settled in exceptionally well. Our Year 3’s continue to do a great job in the Juniors. Well done! We had hoped to hold some discos next week. Unfortunately, they have had to be postponed, and will now be taking place in the Spring term. We have a vacancy at the moment for a level 2 teaching assistant to support in Breakfast Club each morning. Please see the council website for more details. Don’t forget the Jazz & Beer Festival over the weekend. Events are taking place both in school and Church. The photo is of our Ethos team. Have a lovely week-end.
