Welcome to Year 6!
Here we are on our first day back at St Stephen's after what seems like years since we were all together. It's great to be back. Please have a look at the links to our different terms to see some of the exciting things we have been up to!
Homework: Our homework is set on Tuesdays to be returned the following Tuesday. We use the CPG Comprehension books and the Year 6 Mathematics 10 minute test books. The pages to be completed are posted on our class page on Teams. We also have weekly spellings to learn on Spelling Shed. Please email or message Mr Lawrenson on dojo if you have forgotten your log in details!
P.E: Our PE day is Friday, so that means that on that day, we can come to school in our PE kits so that we are ready for our lessons in the afternoon! During the second half term of Autumn, Spring and Summer, we also have PE on a Tuesday afternoon with Rees Sports.
Reading: Sadly, due to the current situation, we are unable to send home reading books at the moment. However, we read in class first thing every day. )ur library is well stocked with a good range of books from new titles to old favourites! This year all of our English work is based on high quality texts, guaranteed to ignite our imagination! We have already completed work based on Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes and War Horse by Michael Morpurgo.
If you have any further questions or concerns regarding Year 6, please message Mr L on dojo or email him on firstname.lastname@example.org
