    Our future Year 4 (current Year3) have been working with Mr Puckey on the Titanic for their taster days. Here is the fabulous display they have come up with!

    Yesterday, Year 3 had an amazing time learning bushcraft skills as part of their outdoor learning. They even made their own soup and cooked it on a fire. Great survival skills Y3!

    Yesterday our whole Year 2 class took part in the Leigh Olympic games. They enjoyed lots of different sports and played brilliantly. We are especially proud of the 4 awards they received for best behaviour. Well done Y2!

    This week Year 1 and 2 had an exciting extreme cycling experience as part of their outdoor learning. They all had a fantastic time.

  • Primary local Leavers' Service

    Today we attended a beautiful service to celebrate our Year 6 children moving on in their learning journey. Local primary schools presented an item. Our school sang the very beautiful Refuge piece, with a dance choreographed by Holly and Ruby. Representatives from Fred Longworth HS and Atherton Community School helped us to understand what high school would be like and answered some of our questions

  • Sports Day

    Yesterday we had a fantastic Sports Day and luckily the storms held off. In the morning the houses competed at kick rounders and rounders. Also the javelin and long jump events took place. In the afternoon, we had the tug of war and the track and field events. Thank you to everyone who came along to cheer the houses on and support us, it was a great turn out. Special thanks to Mr Puckey for organising the event and Mrs Poole for scoring.
