We come to the end of a very busy half-term. On Monday our Y4 hockey team played in a competition. Mr Puckey was really proud of the team and the way they played. Our Year 3's had a great day yesterday on their Roman Day. Tonight our football team are playing against Tyldesley Primary. Next week we are having our kitchen taken out, and work gets started on our new kitchen. Until Easter the children have limited options for their lunch as we are having our lunches transported to us each day. On 23rd April we are looking forward to opening up the new kitchen. Next week we are also having new Interactive touch screens fitted in all the classrooms too. It's all exciting! Have a lovely break, and see you on February 25th.

This week we have been working in our houses on internet safety, 'Together for a better internet'. The focus has been how consent works in an online context- and exploring how we ask, give and receive consent online. Our after-school discos were a huge success on Thursday. Thank you to the members of the Parent's Association and our staff for their support. On Friday afternoon the Anti-Crash Crew were outside school with our PCSOs monitoring the speed of the passing traffic. After school Mrs Lowe was at St. Michael's with our KS1 kurling team. They were superstars, congratulating all the other teams. AJ scored a bull's eye! Well done to AJ, Ben and Lola-Rose! They came 4th overall.

Thank you to everyone for their support on Wednesday. It was a difficult decision to close school due to the snow. All staff tried to get in to school, which proved difficult for those of us with a distance to travel.

This week all families have been given the information regarding ordering school meals from home. If you have any issues with this, please ask at the office. Today we have said thank you and goodbye to Miss Burgess. We wish her all the very best for the future. Have a lovely week-end.
