  • Easter Service

    Today we were very proud of our year 3s as they led the Easter service in church. Year 6 told the Easter story in drama, readings and prayer. The other classes all made a presentation about a cross from around the world.
    Year 2 shared crosses from Bangladesh which taught us about caring for and helping one another.
    Year 5 told the story of reconciliation and forgiveness in Rwanda.
    Year 1 showed the colourful new life crosses of Ethiopia.
    Reception taught us how to be a team u...sing an Australian cross.
    Year 4 told us the story of the Red Cross movement which started in Switzerland.
  • 100% attendance

    This term nearly 40% of the school have never missed a session of their learning. We are really impressed with this attendance which is helping children to make greater progress.

    In Year 6 well done to Rachel, Millie, Callum, James, Katie F, Aimee, Emmanuel, McKenzie, Isobel and Jess S

    In Year 5 congratulations to Charlie, Candone, Harry, Liam, Tomas, Honey and Zachary for never missing a session.

    Year 4 have the best attendance in school with half the class never having missed a session. Well done to Charlie, Jasmine, James, Zach, Olivia D, Aidan, Matthew, Olivia G, Kian, Koby, Olivia N, Amanda, Harrison, Hannah, Hannah, Lydia.

    In Year 3 well done Alice, Fraser, Andrew, Harmony, Ella and Anna for being in school all the time.

    Fantastic attendance in year 2. Congratulations to Faith, Sam, Harry, Chloe, Liam, Daniel, Emily, Ben, Laura, Rio, Roxanne, Kyan, Scarlett and Elizabeth.

    Well done in year 1 to Ben A-Y, Jorja, Harrison, Massimo, Maximus, Sajaanan, Georgina, Aston, Toby and Oscar W our 100%ers

    Well done in Reception class to Jude, Daniel, Finlay, Annabelle, Niamh, Bradley, Kate, Sophia, Freya and Darcey for their 100% attendance.

  • Greater Manchester Finals Lacrosse

    Congratulations to our amazing lacrosse team who took part in the Greater Manchester Winter Olympic Games yesterday. They played brilliantly against some tough competition and made it to the Quester Finals to be knocked out by Pinfold school. Well done to Zach, Leon, Kyle, Archie, Jasmine, Aimee and Millie.
  • Let's Sing

    Yesterday our wonderful Year 5s took part in Let's Sing and made us all incredibly proud. They gave their hearts and souls to the performace with every single child singing out. Well done all of you and a special mention for a very brave Honey who sang a solo.

    A huge congratulations to our Y1 science team who came 3rd in the Wigan competition today. The questions were really challenging and they answered brilliantly. Well done to Austin, Aston, Max and Aaron.

  • World Book Day

    Last week we celebrated World Book Day by exploring the books of Anthony Browne. Each house worked together on a book and then created an amazing display of their models, artwork and writing.
  • Year 4 and 6 Concert

    Today was our Year 4 and 6 performed their music concert. Year 4 gave us a fantastic brass performance working together playing different parts. Later this year they will play with the Halle orchestra. Year 6 sang "Children of the World" beautifully and impressed us with their handbell playing.
