Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Reminder - weather permitting Wednesday is Sports' Day. Everyone should come dressed in sports wear in their house colours: Hanover - yellow, Tudor - red, Stuart - blue, Windsor - green. In the morning houses will take part in an age appropriate rounders tournament. The throwing and jumping events will also take place. In the afternoon, track races will be run along with the tug of war.
Please make sure your child has a bottle of water for the afternoon. Fruit will be available if children bring 50p in the morning. It would also be a good idea to put suncream on your child and send them with a hat - it may just be sunny!
KS2 have been celebrating World Maths Day with a shape and space theme. Every house looked at a different artist who uses shape in their work. Stuart house explored the work of Mondrian using vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines to create shapes. Windsor learnt about Kandinsky's art using a variety of shapes and lines overlapping. Hanover used tessellation to create pictures in the style of Escher. Tudor looked at the work of Clarice Cliff and made plate and cup designs using 2D shapes.
Well done to the school football team who took part in the ATSA football competition last night. A brilliant performance and they came third place. A great end to a fantastic season.
